About the Editors
Adam Geczy is an artist, writer and Senior Lecturer at Sydney College of the Arts, the University of Sydney. He is author of Fashion and Orientalism (Bloomsbury, 2013). His co-authored books include Reframing Art and his Art: Histories, Theories and Exceptions with Michael Carter (Berg, 2008), which won the 2009 Choice Award for best academic title in art; Fashionable Art with Jacqueline Millner, (Bloomsbury, 2015); and Fashion and Art (Berg, 2012), Queer Style (Bloomsbury, 2013) and Fashion’s Double: Representations of Fashion in Painting, Photography and Film (Bloombsbury, 2015), all with Vicki Karaminas. His latest publication is The Artificial Body in Fashion and Art: Marionettes, Models and Mannequins (Bloomsbury, 2016).
Benjamin Genocchio is an art critic and non-fiction writer from Australia. He lives in New York state. He is editor-in-chief of Artnet News. He previously worked as an art critic for The New York Times, and then as the editor-in-chief of Art+Auction magazine, Modern Painters magazine, and artinfo.com.
